Abstract: Mitochondrial genomes are widely utilized as molecular markers for exploring animal phylogenetic evolution and genetic diversity, possessing characteristic genetic attributes including maternal inheritance, rapid evolutionary rates, conserved sequence architecture, and abundant phylogenetically informative sites. Currently, mitogenomic datasets of Cicindelidae are insufficient, which impedes their application in systematic studies of Coleoptera. In this study, high-throughput sequencing was performed on five species of tiger beetles, and complete mitochondrial genomes were assembled and annotated. This study documents detailed mitogenomic profiles of five tiger beetle taxa, namely Cylindera obliquefasciata, C. mongolica, Cicindela elisae, Calomera littoralis, and Chaetodera laetescripta. The multi-dimensional datasets comprise full-length mitochondrial sequences, annotated mitochondrial gene sets, codon usage patterns, base composition, and nucleotide skew values. The present research substantially enriches the mitogenomic database of Cicindelidae and supplies fundamental data for subsequent relevant research. The acquired data can facilitate multiple follow-up analyses, such as phylogenetic relationship reconstruction within Cicindelidae, biodiversity assessment, and characterization of population differentiation.
