Species diversity of beetles of Mt.Wutongshan

Abstract: The present paper reported the species diversity of beetles of Wutongshan Mountain. It was found that emergence peak of beetle adults fell in J une and J uly. Species abundance and species diversity were analyzed using Margalef species abundance model and Shannon-Wiener biodiversity index , respectively. The result indicates that the species are abundant and the ecosystem of Mt . Wutongshan is rather intact .
