摘要：
AbstractI discussed the roles that mycorrhizal fungi play in terrestrial ecosystems. They form mutualistic association with plants , retain nutrient elements and water in the soil , supply foods for animals ,affect the succesion of community and the composition of flora , regulate the integration of the resources and sustain species diversity of ecosystems.
