Abstract: The broad sense of the biosafety concept should be composed of human health , and safeties of agricultural and environmental organisms (biodiversities) . By reviewing the phylogeny of the regulations and organizations relating to this field both worldwide and within China , and by consulting the international development trend , countermeasures aimed at the existing problems of biosafety in our country from the point of view of sanitary and quarantine are proposed.
