The particularity and biological diversity of Lichens, and their importance to science and application

The particularity and biological diversity of lichens reflect in dual nature of lichens, lichen species, livingenviroment, vitality, growth speed, secondary metabolites, are briefly discussed, and significance oflichens in studying symbiosis evolution, lichenometry, medicine and to monitor air pollution, is introducedin the present paper.
