Abstract: The genus Actinidia contains more than 66 species and 118 taxa. Sixty two species , 114 taxa have been found in China. Genetic diversity from morphological characteristics to DNAs was discussed in thispaper : (1) morphological diverity (important horticultural characteristics) ; (2) diversity of nutritional consstituents and flavor ; (3) gender variation ; (4) ploidy variation ; (5) isozyme genetic variation , and (6) genetic diversity DNAs.
